The Great Hope

ree

In a world filled with sorrow, disease, wars, and hatred, how unbearable it must be to have no hope for a better place “We are born, we eat, we suffer, we grow old and die”, the time lived in a miserable world is but a short while and a majority of the time is spent marely trying to earn enough to survive while facing all the crucibles of a harsh and cruel world. Imagine a small family with children born in a war zone. Imagine a child born into a poor family in a country ravaged by famine. Imagine a child born with a disease so horrible that they suffer for half of their life, only to die a painful death. Surely, there must be a better place than this. All of this cannot be all that life has to offer.

At the center of the sacred scriptures is the doctrine of the Second Advent. Ever since sin entered the world, God's children have been anticipating the restoration of peace and harmony on this dying planet. Even those who do not believe in God often long for a better place, as the whole earth seems to be in agony. It is no surprise that the gospel of the second advent of Jesus Christ has been referred to as “THE GREAT HOPE”. This promise has been given throughout the ages, from the times of Enoch “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousand of his saints” to the time of Christ Himself “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

To the Atheist

A wise man once put it this way " atheists can't find God for the same reason a thief can't find a policeman". Many people deny the existence of a Creator because if there is one, then He has the right to tell us how to live since He created us and He knows better, he writes the manual book of proper human behavior for a Happy and healthy lifestyle. Moreover, if He is the sustainer of life, then we should pay attention to His commands. However, if God does not exist, then who decides what's right and wrong? Is it the government or each individual?

If I were to ask you to list five things that are wrong, it's important to first establish the criteria you are using to determine what makes those things wrong. If there is no God are you suggesting that we should simply do whatever we feel like doing? It seems like our society is currently following a similar mantra of "do what thou wilt" and this has resulted in people identifying as cats and dogs, we are literally cannibalizing each other, child abuse is rampant, and different vices are celebrated, I ask you on the trajectory that we are on worldwide as a species where do we see our selves in the next 100 years? I can assure you the future doesn’t look so bright.

Psalms 14:1 “The fool has said in his heart there is no God”, okay Mr bible why am I a fool if I say there is no God

Answer : Romans 1:19

“Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

I cannot imagine living without hope, and am glad I got to find that Hope, oh sorry No. He found me and gave me hope. And to everyone out there, this world will not continue forever, and if your faith and hope is in the god of reason, skepticism, or nothing at all, you better be sure of what you believe in, because eternity depends on it.

I think it is time to Publish “The Age of Reason”, watch out
